So i finally bit the bullet and bought a colour printer, my first ever, isn’t that odd? Being a designer and all, i have just always used my b&w lazer printer (a trusty Lexmark that i have had for about 7 years now). So now i have this delicious addition to my techy repertoire and just did my first print today…i have to tell you, i am really, really impressed with the quality. I tried out a matte paper

and the colours are just beautiful, it can be found in my shop. So i had to list it immediately and can’t wait to do more…this opens up a lot of possibilities aside from just being able to offer reproductions of my art, but also to make paintings and drawings specifically for prints.

On another note, I am off for a week, Reading Week to be exact. This is supposed to be a time to catch up on all our reading and regroup, but i find myself in a panic trying to get more art finished and also prepare for a craft show i have coming up December 1. This means more pendant production, possibly offering some prints and whatever else i can scare up before then. I have also secured www.artgirlx.com and need to get the new website up asap…these are all self imposed deadlines, not sure whey i am so panicked all the time.

Anyway, the time is absolutely flying and it is just over a month that we will be heading to Alberta for Christmas. I am excited and anxious at the same time, for a number of reasons. I am hoping the xmas craft sale turns out well and the new prints fly off the cyber shelves! Anyway, that’s about all the news that’s fit to print for now…I will be updating my shop with new prints almost daily (this is what i am aiming for anyway)!
