My husband and I are obsessed with thrift stores and we visit them at least once or twice a week.

So I was browsing the toy isle with my daughter today and my heart just about stopped when I saw this:

Thats right my fellow 20something friends! It’s Rainbow Brite’s horse, Starlite!

I would have KILLED for this horse when I was little and now she is mine! Uh…I mean she’s for my daughter, heehee! This is one of the reasons that I am infinitely happy that I had a little girl, I get to relive my childhood vicariously through her with all my favorite toys. Check out how I arranged all the stuffed animals on her bed (just the way I used to do when I was little!):

It’s so fun! My daughter is way into My Little Pony, Carebears, and Hello Kitty. Truth be told, she doesn’t care much for her (my) Rainbow Bright and I don’t think she’ll mind if I sneak some snuggles with Starlite either.
